I have one more day here at the Country Inn, but wanted to write my review today. Sonny, the site manager was the most professional, helpful, friendliest manager I've seen in my travels. Housekeeping were very attentive to our needs. The room is clean and the kitchenette was everything I needed. I definitely recommend Monahans Country Inn for a comfortable stay.
Monahans Country Inn Is a great place for the price. Clean, quiet, air works great, small kitchenette with full size refrigerator/freezer, no carpet (awesome for allergy sufferer). We have stay there before and will stay there again!
This Monahan's Country Inn is slightly hidden at 808 I-20. But they are constantly booked because management takes very concerning care of guests. Not only do they clean up the bedding daily with a military style tucked bedding. But also the bathroom amenities are refurbished daily with fresh towels and bathroom condiments. Not to mention ANY litter left in trash IS DISCARDED daily. And to get every day started there is always a complimentary coffee serving waiting on the kitchen cabinet. And when you get settled in there's cable TV and internet service provided to the guests. Which I often take advantage of while waiting for laundry to get done in the Monahans Country Inn laundromat. Perhaps I'll get a complimentary monster drink under my pillow during my next stay for such an awesome repport Room #123 cough cough Maroon crew cab dually
Stayed here because I was exhausted after being on location for nearly 2 days and didn't want to drive back home. Sunny at the front dest was one of the most accommodating hotel employees I've ever come across. Very friendly and attentive. The only thing that would have made this stay better would have been regular sized towels. Otherwise the room served it's purpose and I would definitely stay here again.
Did a detour and I must say it was worth it. A mini kitchen with a full size fridge. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom prefect size for the bedroom size. You have the option of using the fan or just the air condition to stay cool on a hot day. Gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and informative about driving through the area. Price was worth the detour and the stay.
I travel full time, and a place like this is a rare find. Super clean, super spacious, set up like a small apartment, great manager that is on site, and close but not too close to town. Price is great. Perfect for a one night stay or an extended stay. I wish there were more places just like this all over the country.
Really great deal for the price in this area! Very good economy option, clean, comfortable, and private with great customer service! We had an issue where we accidentally booked the wrong day and they accommodated us without the extra nonsense on booking and rebooking + having fees and whatnot.
Stopped here for a night on my way out from Big Bend so I could be close to the Sandhills and eventually Big Spring. The room was clean, the linens and towels were clean, and the shower (nice, high pressure) and toilet were clean as well, all I could really ask for at such a good price. Especially considering the room comes with a full sized kitchen and fridge. My only problem was the TV didn't turn on but my guess was the remote batteries. The man at the front desk was nice and probably would've helped if I asked. I would stay here again.
